Welcome To The Ranch

The Ranch House is the “Big House” on this small working ranch located between Bonham and Ector in historic Fannin County, Texas. Owned by Craig Buford, this operation raises and develops quality replacement heifers for resale to other ranchers.


When you want to have a taste of rural America, this may be just the spot. On any given evening, as you sit on the back deck enjoying the beautiful Texas sunset, cattle graze up to the backyard fence just to see what you’re doing. Calving time is generally January-March and there’s nothing more fun than watching newborn calves running and jumping. You may see cowboys working cattle in the pens, trailering in new cows or shipping others out, feed trucks taking care of cows in the winter and new hay being stacked in the summer.
